Hogwarts Legacy allows players to choose their Hogwarts House at the beginning of the game. Players will be able to choose from Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff to experience life as a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
In the Harry Potter Universe, students have the free will to choose their own houses by simply requesting for it during the sorting ceremony, which the sorting hat takes into account their own house preference.
Gryffindor houses the bravest and the boldest wizards and witches in Hogwarts. The common room is located at one of the highest towers in Hogwarts and is guarded by the portait of the Fat Lady.
Gryffindors have had a fierce rivalry with Slytherin through the years as both houses share the goal of becoming the greatest and strongest wizards of all time.

Slytherin students value leadership, determination, and ambition. Because of their passion and resourcefulness, many wizards turn to the dark side to achieve their personal goals. The Slytherin common room is located in the dungeons of Hogwarts.

Ravenclaw takes pride in their intellectual strength and superb knowledge, going as far as having their common room password set to answering the correct riddle each time a Ravenclaw student enters.
The common room is located at one of the towers in Hogwarts. These rooms are filled with windows overlooking the background scenery of the castle, possibly to help the Ravenclaw students think and brainstorm ideas.
House Ravenclaw Guide
Hufflepuff is home to the kindest and most caring students in Hogwarts. The individuals sorted here value hardwork and loyalty above all else. The house's emblem is a Badger and the common room is located in one of the Hogwarts basements, near the kitchens.
House Hufflepuff Guide
The Hogwarts Houses are divided into Four learning communities or simply, 'houses', depending on the personalities of each students. This helps each student achieve their goals by pairing them up with other wizards who share the same motivations and dreams.
In the Harry Potter lore, these four houses compete with each other by achieving the most House Points at the end of the year to win the House Cup. These points are earned by student activities such as class participation, Quidditch matches, or sometimes going above and beyond in times of danger.
