| Accio Mastery | An easy way to disrupt enemy formation, especially groups of enemies. |
| Confringo Mastery | Covers the only weakness of Confringo being a single target spell by being able to home to multiple enemies. Perfect especially against Inferis. |
| Diffindo Mastery | Diffindo becomes more efficient by being able to damage multiple foes. |
| Stunning Curse | Higher dps after a good stun against the enemies means a higher dps rate for your character. |
| Disarming Curse | Great for defeating solo enemies and bosses. |
| Basic Cast Mastery | Makes chaining spell combos much faster and easier. |
| Wiggenweld Potency I | Allows you to survive several tough battles like battle arenas. |
| Sense of Secrecy I | Easier sneaking means easier time to clear dungeons and camps. |
| Human Demiguise | Makes sneaking on dungeons and fortresses much easier. |
| Spell Knowledge (I and II) | Easier time swapping spells means a more fluid gameplay and combat. |
| Edurus Potion Potency | Eliminates the risk of taking damage for a short period. |

| Glacius Mastery | One of the greatest stall spells and can even be comboed with petrificus totalus. |
| Crucio Mastery | Great at taking down single targets as it inflicts curse and increased damage output for the rest of your spells. |
| Imperio Mastery | One of the easiest way to spread curses while also taking out one enemy with a single cast. |
| Revelio Mastery | Easier time in exploring all secrets at Hogwarts. |
| Protego Expertise | Protego becomes an offensive tool if used correctly with this talent which greatly increases your damage output. |
| Stupefy Mastery | Takes out one enemy for a longer duration. |
| Sense of Secrecy II | Easier sneaking means easier time to pick out enemies ony by one. |
| Maxima Potion Potency | Huge DPS increase for basic casts. |
Spells in red involve using unforgivable curses and may not be ideal for everyone's playthrough.
