Scrope's Last Hope is a Slytherin-exclusive quest and will be available after completing the quest Trials of Merlin.

| 2 | Meet Scrope at the Water's Edge After finding the last note, follow the quest marker and there you'll find Scrope. |
| 3 | Investigate the Grotto Head towards the quest marker and go inside the grotto. Be careful on the way as there are enemies scattered around. |
| 4 | Place the Toast on the Pedestal |
| 5 | Go Inside the Hole in the Wall |
| 6 | Collect Apollonia's Black Journal ▶ Where is Apollonia's Black Journal |
| 7 | Return to Scrope Go and talk to Scrope and this will finish the quest. |
The first note should be in the courtyard in Hogwarts, held by one of the statues in its beak.
Follow the quest marker towards the second note. It should be high up the tree in front of the Floo Flame waypoint. Cast Accio at the box and place it near the tree, then climb up the box and receive the note.
Head down towards the pumpkin patch and you'll fine the third note inside a pumpkin. Destroy the pumpkin and receive the note.
The journal should be on the table near the entrance in the wall from where you came in.
After you've collected the Journal, a ghost will appear by the name of Richard Jackdaw. A cutscene will commence and after your conversation with him, you can find a Map with Floating Candles inside the chest near you. This will trigger the Ghost of Our Love quest to start.
