Hogwarts Legacy Repository Choice

Unlock the Normal or Evil ending depending on whether you open or keep the Repository contained in Hogwarts Legacy. Find out if you should keep the Repository contained or open it and all Repository choice outcomes!

Normal Ending
・Ancient Magic is kept hidden away and you become the Keeper of Ancient Magic.
・Professor Fig dies sealing the magic away.
I intend to open it.
Evil Ending
・You open the Repository and wield the Ancient Magic for yourself.
・Professor Fig dies when Ranrok makes the cave ceiling collapse.

The dialogue option that you pick in this choice event at the end of The Final Repository quest will determine the main story ending that you will get.

Also, whether or not you take the Ancient Magic for yourself, the choice will not affect any post-story gameplay nor the True Ending.

Depends On What Ending You Want

Hogwarts Legacy Good Ending
If you've been playing on the moral side, then you should choose to contain it and allow the story to wrap up cleanly.

If you've been playing on the bad/dark side, then choose to open it so you can watch your character absorb what is seemingly dark Ancient Magic. Your character states that they have the intention of using it for the greater good, but Professor Fig seems unsure. This ending is left more open-ended than the first.

Hogwarts Legacy Professor Fig Death

Additionally, you can choose based on how you'd want Professor Fig to pass away. He dies in both endings, but he gets a more noble death in the Keep the Repository Contained ending.

Interestingly, the debris collapses on Professor Fig in both endings, but it's his cause of death only in the Open Repository Ending.
