Harry Potter is a student that attends Hogwarts at a much later date. He would have a reputation as "The Boy Who Lived" after surviving the Killing Curse. He would go on to lead his fellow students in a war against Lord Voldemort to save the wizarding world.

Albus Dumbledore

Considered one of the greatest wizards of the modern age, Albus Dumbledore takes on the role of Headmaster at Hogwarts in the mid-1900s. He would teach different classes on his way to becoming headmaster and would also possess each of the Deathly Hallows, though not all at the same time.

Minerva McGonagall

During her time at Hogwarts, Minerva McGonagall would serve as both Head of Gryffindor House and the Transfiguration professor. She would later go on to become Headmistress of Hogwarts after helping defeat Lord Voldemort.

Ron Weasley

Ron Weasley is another wizard that attends Hogwarts much later on where he befriends Harry Potter and Hermione Granger. Together, they go on many adventures in their years at Hogwarts culminating in their victory at the Battle of Hogwarts.

Born to muggle parents, Hermione Granger would attend Hogwarts and complete the Golden Trio. Hermione's studious nature lead to her knowing a lot more about magic than Harry or Ron and would help them in situations that appear bleak.

Matilda Weasley

During your stay at Hogwarts, Matilda Weasley will serve as the Deputy Headmistress and Transfiguration Professor. She plays as role similar to Minerva McGonagall and is assumed to be an ancestor of Ron Weasley.

Does Choosing Gryffindor Affect Gameplay?

Access to House Specific Quests

At some point in the main story quest, you will be tasked to find missing pages of the certain book related to a character named Richard Jackdaw. The quest will branch off into four different narratives, depending on the House you choose.

If you are in House Gryffindor, you will have access to the The Hunt for the Missing Pages main story quest.

Can Only Enter Gryffindor Common Room

You will only be able to enter the Gryffindor Common Room if you were sorted into this House. The entrance of the other common rooms are present in Hogwarts Castle but you cannot enter inside.

Can You Enter Other Houses Common Rooms?

Can Only Wear the Uniform of Your Chosen House

Players can only wear the uniforms of their chosen Hogwarts House. This means that most of the House-related gear you can obtain will have a red and gold color representing House Gryffindor.
