Exit the room or reload the save to fix a bug involving the third puzzle in The Hall of Herodiana side quest in Hogwarts Legacy. Read on to learn more about this bug during this side quest.

During The Hall of Herodiana side quest, you may encounter a bug that prevents you from completing the quest. You can go back to the entrance and exit the room to completely reset the puzzle.
If exiting the room didn't work, you can also try reloading a previous save, either an autosave or one you did manually, and see if it restarts the puzzle room.
Unfortunately, if both methods do not work, you'll have to wait for the devs to patch the game with a fix which will let you complete this quest.
This bug will prevent you from completing all side quests in the game, as you will not be able to complete The Hall of Herodiana side quest.
During this quest, your objectives are to solve the platforming puzzles and collect three treasure chests inside the puzzle room.
If you encounter the bug, opening one of the chests inside will not count towards your quest progress even if you did open it, thereby freezing the objective with Solve Herodiana's Puzzles (2/3). Another bug involving the room will spawn blocks in places where they are not supposed to, preventing you from clearing the room.
