Description Nora Treadwell and I defeated some Ashwinders who were looking for me near Lower Hogsfield. Afterwards, she showed me her research on something called the Merlin Trials and I was able to help her solve one of the puzzles.

Help the Stranger
Go to towards the quest marker and you'll find an old woman being harassed by thieves.

Defeat the Thieves

Speak with the Stranger
After defeating the thieves, talk to Nora Treadwell.

Get the Mallowsweet From the Trunk
Collect Mallowsweet Leaves from the trunk or chest near Nora's tent.

Solve Merlin's Trial
▶ How to Solve This Trial

Speak to Nora Treadwell
Go back to Nora and talk to her. This will complete the quest.

5. Solve Merlin's Trial

Place the Mallowsweet Leaves on the stone swirl on the ground. Then, cast Incendio on the pillars to finish the trail.
