(Infamous Foe) 		Thought to be an omen of death upon the villagers of Netherwyck, this black wolf was simply a wolf who had been enchanted with some kind of magic. It shared its den with a great white wolf and their kin.

(Infamous Foe) 		A ferocious beast with striking white fur.

Mongrels may attack in pack but their attacks can easily be repelled by Protego. Wait for them to attack, repel them with protego, then counterattack with your spells!

Mongrels can be found on Mongrel Lairs. Aside from these locations, mongrels are difficult to find so it is best to head to nearby nests if you wish to obtain some Mongrel Fur.

Mongrels can also be fought as Infamous foes. Two examples are The Grim and The White Wolf and both enemies are stronger than regular mongrels.
