Before the actual fight, there will be a quick time event where the troll runs in your direction and you'll have to dodge it. This acts as a tip for future battles as well since you can dodge to get out of harm's way.
Once the real fight begins, Armored Troll will start running towards you again but this can be avoided by dodging away. Successfully dodging the attack will make the troll hit the wall and be temporarily immobilized. Use this time to cast spells and inflict damage for free.
Since the Armored Troll will only be armed with a club, playing from a distance and taking advantage of your range is the best course of action. Be wary of its running attacks as this is the only way Armored Troll can close the gap.
