Twitch Drops Start Date

February 24 Stream

Avalanche has given players another chance to snag Merlin's Cloak if they missed it last time! Just join the Avalanche Software Twitch stream on February 24, 2023 at 2 PM PST or 5PM EST!

From February 7th - 24th

Hogwarts Legacy - Twitch Drops Start Date

The Hogwarts Legacy Twitch Drops campaign starts from February 7, 2023 and ends at February 24, 2023.

February 7 or 10 Streams

Exclusive Twitch Drops

As an exclusive reward for participating in the Avalanche streams of the game, players can nab themselves an exclusive item: Merlin's Cloak.

The Early Access Stream starts at 8 AM PT on February 7, 2023, while the Launch Stream starts at 8 AM PT on February 10, 2023!

How to Claim Hogwarts Legacy Twitch Drops

1. Log In or Create a Twitch Account

You will need a Twitch account to get any of the Twitch Drops! You can log in our create an account with the button below:

2. Connect your Twitch Account to Your Warner Bros. Games Account

Go to the profile settings of your Warner Bros. Games account and select the Connections tab.

Under Connected Accounts, click the button next to the Twitch account. This will take you to the Twitch site allowing you to lin connect your Twitch account with your Warner Bros. Games account.

3. Watch a Hogwarts Legacy Stream on Twitch

Hogwarts Legacy - Watch a Hogwarts Legacy Stream on Twitch

Watch any Hogwarts Legacy stream with drops enabled on Twitch. Make sure to check if the stream has a Drops Enabled tag below the title and if a pop-up message appears above the chat box.

Note that you can only get one drop at a time for every 30 minutes. This means you need to watch a total of 2 hours in order obtain all Twitch drops.

Merlin's Cloak is Exclusive to the Avalanche Software Stream

Watching the Avalanche Software Stream is the requirement to nab Merlin's Cloak. You can still earn other drops in the process though!

Only watch one channel at a time

Note that you can only reach the reward goals with the first stream you watch. Watching other streams does not count towards reward goals.

This means you will not get the rewards faster if you watch multiple streams at the same time.

4. Click on Your Twitch Inventory to Claim Drops

Once you have reached a reward goal, you will receive a notification at the top of the page. Click the chest icon on the top-right corner to access the Twitch Inventory screen and claim the rewards from there.

5. Be Sure to Claim Them on the Hogwarts Legacy Drops Page

You must claim your drops on both Twitch and the Hogwarts Legacy Site to get them in-game. Simply log into your Warner Bro. Account and after following the previous steps, and claim your prizes here too! They should be available in your game afterwards!

6. Open Hogwarts Legacy

If you've already got the game open, save your progress and restart the game. Upon starting, you should get a notification for your new items!

Note that they will not appear in your inventory because they are Transmog items!
