Cursed Tomb Treasure Side Quest and Treasure Location
The Cursed Tomb Treasure side quest will lead you to treasure in the Tomb of Treachery in Hogwarts Legacy. Learn how to find the Cursed Tomb Treasure, the Mysterious Map Fragment treasure location, and how to solve the moth door in the Tomb of Treachery!
Cursed Tomb Treasure Walkthrough

| 1 |  Open the locked chest under the old manor in Manor Glen. The ruined Manor Glen is located east of the West Manor Cape Floo Flame fast travel point. Enter the manor then head down into the basement. |
| 1a |  You'll need to unlock a Level 3 lock to get to the basement. Once you've opened the Level 3 lock, head down the stairs and to the southmost room, where the chest is located. The chest has a Level 1 lock. ▶︎ How to Pick Locks and Unlock Doors |
| 2 |  Use the Mysterious Map Fragment to find the treasure. The treasure is found within the Tomb of Treachery in between Coastal Cavern and Poidsear Coast. Inside, head all the way north through the tomb and you'll reach a moth door puzzle. |
| 2a | Use Lumos to gather the moths and bring them to the door. 2 moths are located north of the door (1 behind a cobweb). The 3rd moth is located south of the door, where you'll have to use Wingardium Leviosa to climb up on the ledge where the moth is at. |
| 2b |  Behind the moth door is a room with Dittany Leaves at the center. Use Flipendo to flip the northwesternmost, northeasternmost, and southernmost tiles on the ground. The treasure chest will rise from the ground afterward. Open it to complete the quest. |
2a. Tomb of Treachery Moth Locations
| 1 |  The moth stand is located in the room north of the moth door. |

| 3 |  The moth stand is located in the room south of the moth door. You need to use Wingardium Leviosa on the box behind the cobweb to climb up on the ledge. |

How to Unlock Cursed Tomb Treasure and Location
Visit West Manor Cape After Getting a Broom
The side quest Cursed Tomb Treasure unlocks the first time you visit the old Manor Glen in west Manor Cape. After you get your broom, you can easily fly to this location.
Flipendo and Alohomora 3 are Required
While the quest gets marked on your map early, you won't be able to begin it until you get Alohomora Level 3, as the quest is locked behind a Level 3 lock. You can get this by collecting 13 Demiguise Statues.
Additionally, you also won't be able complete this quest until you get the Flipendo spell, which you unlock during Professor Garlick's Assignment 1.

Cursed Tomb Treasure Tips and Strategies
No Need to Defeat Ailsa Travers
You may run into the Infamous Foe Ailsa Travers in the basement of Manor Glen. There's no need to fight her during this quest, as you can quickly move to use Alohomora on the treasure chest before she fully spawns in the room and run away right after opening the chest and getting the map.
However, if you do wish to fight her, she's not that difficult of a foe to dispatch anyway.
