The Birds of a Feather side quest becomes available upon visiting Marunweem for the first time. However, to do this quest, you'll need a nab-sack, which you unlock during the main quest The Elf, the Nab-Sack, and the Loom.

| 1 | Speak with the woman in Marunweem. You need to talk to Marianne Moffett, who's throwing bird feed on the ground northeast of the Marunweem Floo Flame fast travel point. |
| 2 |  Go to the Diricawl Den at night. The Diricawl Den is located east of the South Poidsear Coast Floo Flame. Specifically, you'll want to sneak up on the tree at the tip of the cliffside. |
| 3 |  Have your nab-sack equipped before sneaking up to the den. Use Revelio to spot all the Diricawls in the area, then auto-lock and shift between the targets to identify which Diricawl is Gwyneira. Immobilize Gwyneira then use the nab-sack to rescue her. |
| 4 |  Return to Marunweem and talk to Marianne Moffett, who's in the same spot she was when you first spoke to her. Select any of the 3 dialogue options to complete the quest. |

When talking to Marianne Moffett at the end of the quest, you can get either 500 Gold or the unique Beast Gwyneira the Diricawl as an additional reward (on top of the standard Debonair Socialite Ensemble gear).
You can only choose one or the other, you can't have both. If you choose to keep Gwyneira, she'll be added to your Vivarium in the Room of Requirement and drop Diricawl Feathers, like other regular Diricawls you rescue.
Selecting "Yes" gives you neither Gold nor Gwyneira, so best not to choose it.
