Hogwarts Legacy - How to Curse Enemies

Players can primarily curse enemies by casting Unforgivable Curses on them in Hogwarts Legacy. Read on to learn more about how to curse enemies and other methods you can do this.

Cast Imperio or Crucio

Players can curse enemies by casting either Crucio or Imperio on them. Enemies that are cursed can be distinguished by a green X mark on their body.

While cursing enemies can be done by simply casting any of the Unforgivable Curses, Avada Kedavra forgoes the need to curse enemies as casting this instantaneously kills them.

How to Get All Unforgivable Curses

Purchase Dark Arts Talents

Talent	Req. Level	Effect
Knockback Curse	5	Req. Spell: Flipendo Flipendo has the same effect as a curse on enemies. Cursed enemies take increased damage.
Disarming Curse	5	Req. Spell: Expelliarmus Expelliarmus has the same effect as a curse on enemies. Cursed enemies take increased damage.
Stunning Curse	5	Req. Spell: Stupefy Stupefy has the same effect as a curse on enemies. Cursed enemies take increased damage.
Blood Curse	5	Dealing damage to a cursed target inflicts damage to all cursed targets.
Crucio Mastery	16	Req. Spell: Crucio Striking an enemy cursed by Crucio releases a projectile that curses a nearby enemy.
Slowing Curse	16	Req. Spell: Arresto Momentum Arresto Momentum has the same effect as a curse on enemies. Cursed enemies take increased damage.

Should players not have access to the Unforgivable Curses, they can still curse enemies by way of the Dark Arts talents. Purchasing any of the talents above allows you to curse enemies with spells that aren't Unforgivable Curses.
