Hogwarts Legacy Ominis or Sebastian

If you side with Sebastian, you have another chance at learning Imperio in Hogwarts Legacy. Find out if you should side with Ominis or Sebastian in the quest In the Shadow of the Study, if you should use Imperio on Ominis, and all results of the Imperio choices!

Choice 1: "Very well. Let's talk with Sebastian." → Result 1: You will be allowed to leave the catacomb.
Choice 2:
"I cannot side with you. Sebastian's right."		 → "Never mind." →
"Yes, that's precisely what I'm suggesting." → Result 2: You will have to cast Imperio on Ominis to exit the catacomb.

Choosing whether to side with Ominis or Sebastian affects the method of how you get out of the catacomb, which involves learning Imperio if you hadn't already earlier in the quest.

Hogwarts Legacy Relearn Imperio

If you chose not to learn Imperio earlier in the quest, then siding with Sebastian will give you one more opportunity to learn Imperio during the quest. If you pass again on learning Imperio here, then you'll have to wait until after the quest ends to learn the curse.

Note that you can also learn Imperio by simply talking to Sebastian in the Undercroft at any point after completing this quest.

If you've already learned Imperio, then there's no difference in outcome for you no matter which dialogue option you choose. You will be allowed to leave the catacomb regardless. It depends on you personally whether you want to cast Imperio on Ominis or not.
