Are the Deathly Hallows in Hogwarts Legacy?

Yes, During Niamh Fitzgerald’s Trial

Hogwarts Legacy - Niamh Fitzgerald

Players will be able to use the Deathly Hallows during the Niamh Fitzgerald’s Trial main quest. On this quest, players will have to sneak across a storybook-designed town without being spotted by Death and its minions.

Along the way, you will get to use each of the Deathly Hallows for certain objectives.

Use the Cloak of Invisibility to Sneak Around

During the early part of the level, you will play through in a stealth section where you will only use the Disillusionment Charm to become invisible.

Further along, you will come across the Cloak of Invisibility, which improves your stealth. You will use the cloak as cover until the next part of the level.

Wield the Elder Wand While Fighting Enemies

You will then get the Elder Wand later on and take on Death's minions in combat.

The legendary wand will reduce your spells' cooldowns, making the fight a bit easier as you will fight several enemies.

Use the Resurrection Stone to Revive Niamh Fitzgerald

Lastly, near the end of the trial, you will obtain the Resurrection Stone, which you will use to revive Niamh Fitzgerald and view her memories through a Pensieve.

Can You Get the Deathly Hallows?

Yes, But Only Temporarily

Hogwarts Legacy - Completing Niamh Fitzgerald

Technically, you will get and obtain the Deathly Hallows during Niamh Fitzgerald's Trial, but only temporarily.

During the trial, you will get the Cloak of Invisibility but only use it to sneak around Death's minions. You will be able to wield the Elder Wand, but only during a combat sequence in the level. Lastly, you will obtain the Resurrection Stone, but only use it to revive Niamh Fitzgerald and advance through the quest.

You Will Not Keep the Deathly Hallows After the Trial

Once you complete the storybook-designed level and go back to the real world, the Deathly Hallows will not be in your possession anymore. The trial is also the first and last time that you will come across these three.

What are the Deathly Hallows?

Powerful Magical Objects

Elder Wand Resurrection Stone Cloak of Invisibility

The Deathly Hallows consisted of three powerful magic objects known as the Elder Wand, the Resurrection Stone, and the Invisibility Cloak.

Each object possesses special abilities that, when one person obtains all three, renders a person as the Master of Death.

The Elder Wand

The Elder Wand is the first hallow that supposedly grants the user incredible magical capabilities. It is the wand coveted by wizards who are after power. However, the wand still chooses the wizard it wishes to serve.

When the Elder Wand is held by someone who has not earned its favor, it will not work properly. In order to become the wand's master, one must defeat the current wand owner, either by simply disarming them, defeating them in combat, or killing them.

Resurrection Stone

The Resurrection Stone is the second hallow that temporarily brings back the dead. However, the souls that are brought back cannot take on a corporeal form and are nothing more than spirits the user can see. The stone is also known to be passed down from generation to generation.

Cloak of Invisibility

The Cloak of Invisibility is the third of the hallows that, when worn, grants the user complete invisibility. Like the Resurrection Stone, the cloak is passed down from generation to generation.

It is said that some tried recreating the original cloak and that there are other Invisibility Cloaks in the Wizarding World that don't work as well as the original.
