How to Unlock
The Path to Hogwarts is the first main quest in Hogwarts Legacy. It unlocks after creating your character in the character creation menu upon starting the game.

Learn How to Cast Basic Cast, Protego, and Stupefy
Basic Cast is your main spell to use against enemies. They deal damage and can easily be chained together with spells or as is.
Later in the quest, you will also learn Protego and Stupefy. These are your main defensive spells, protecting you from enemy attacks and countering them with a stun.
Learn How to Cast Revelio
Revelio allows you to reveal surrounding interactable objects and legends near you. Use it to explore and learn more about the world of hogwarts as well as identifying key locations and enemy placements ingame!
Revelio Effects and How to Get
Learn How to Cast Lumos
Lumos allows you to summon a light on the tip of your wand. Use it to illuminate the area and solve certain puzzles in the game!

| 3 | Destroy the magical barrier. Once you reach the ice wall, tap R2 to perform a Basic Cast. Tap the button repeatedly to destroy the ice wall.▶ Video Walkthrough Part 1 (4:31 - 4:41) |
| 4 | Follow Professor Fig. Follow Professor Fig until you reach the dead end. Wait for him to point to the right direction and climb the tall wall. Watch the professor cast Reparo to create a bridge leading to the next area.▶ Video Walkthrough Part 1 (4:45 - 5:57) |
| 5 | Explore the ruins. Head to the path west of the ruins near the statue to reach the next objective. Get close to the enchanted, crystallised stone and wait for Professor Fig. Interact with the stone to complete the objective.▶ Video Walkthrough Part 1 (7:45 - 8:54) |

| 7 | Follow Professor Fig. Check the right side of the vault's entrance to find a treasure chest. Enter the vault and complete the spell learning minigame to learn Revelio. Use the left-stick to trace the symbol and press the corresponding button prompts to complete the minigame. | 8 | Stay Close to Professor Fig. Follow Professor Fig until you find the same glow on the ground. Interact with it to complete the objective. |

| 11 | Protego Incoming Enemy Attacks. Use Protego at least 3 times to complete the objective. Wait for them to attack and press the Triangle/Y button to cast Protego. |

| 13 | Stay Close to Professor Fig. Stay close to Professor Fig to complete this objective. |

| 16 | Tap R2/RT to Destroy Statues with Basic Cast. Defeat the statues. Use Basic Cast to deplete their health and use Protego to deflect their attacks. You can also press and hold the Triangle/Y button to use Protego and counterattack with Stupefy. |
| 17 | Find Professor Fig. Cast Lumos and follow the wisps of light to find another glowing pool on the ground. Interact with it to create a portal. Go inside the portal and check the sides of the room to find a chest. Interact with the Pensieve in the middle of the room to complete the objective.▶ Video Walkthrough Part 2 (6:48 - 10:53) |
5. Look for the Statue in the Area
Once you reach the ruins after Professor Fig casts Reparo, head to the west side to find a statue. Head north from the statue to reach the next area leading towards the "Explore the ruins" objective marker.
