All Daedalian Key Locations

Daedalian Key #1: Astronomy Tower

Daedalian Key Location	Daedalian Cabinet Location

The first key is obtained during the initial part of the Daedalian Keys quest.

Daedalian Key #2: Grand Staircase

Daedalian Key Location	Daedalian Cabinet Location

The Daedalian Key is flying on the third level of the Grand Staircase. After spotting it, it flies to the Daedalian cabinet located directly above the Floo Flame of the Grand Staircase.

Daedalian Key #3: Great Hall

Look left after fast traveling to the Great Hall Floo Flame. The Daedalian Key is flying in front of the fireplace. It will fly up the 1 set of stairs to the right of the Great Hall Floo Flame.

Daedalian Key #4: Entrance Hall

The Daedalian Key is flying at the top of the staircase of the Entrance Hall of the Great Hall. It flies northeast, to the bottom of the staircase, where the cabinet is at.

Daedalian Key #5: Quad Courtyard

The Daedalian Key is flying at the top of the staircase in the southeast of the Quad Courtyard, directly in front of the Leviosa statue. It flies to the cabinet found beside the entrance to the hallway leading to the Defence Against the Dark Arts Tower.

Daedalian Key #6: Defence Against the Dark Arts Classroom

The Daedalian Key is found at the rhinoceros skeleton display found a floor below the Defence Against the Dark Arts Classroom. The key flys to the cabinet on the floor directly above it.

Daedalian Key #7: North Hall

Enter North Hall from the Transfiguration Courtyard to find the Daedalian Key flying at the bottom of the staircase. It will fly to the cabinet at the very top of the staircase.

Daedalian Key #8: Dungeons 1

From the North Hall Daedalian Cabinet at the top of the staircase, head to the very bottom of that staircase to the Dungeons. Descend all the way down to the Daedalian Key flying beside the Sleeping Dragon Statue. Head up 1 flight of staircase to the Daedalian Cabinet.

Daedalian Key #9: Dungeons 2

Head down the hallway in front of the Sleeping Dragon Statue, then turn right at the Level 2 Lock. The Daedalian Key is flying in the middle of that next hallway. It will fly down the hallway to the cabinet in the next room.

Daedalian Key #10: Potions Classroom

The Daedalian Key is flying in front of the Potions Classroom. It will fly down the staircase north of it, to the cabinet at the end of the hallway.

Daedalian Key #11: Central Hall 1

In Central Hall, go down the staircase north of the fountain and look left to find the Daedalian Key. The key will fly to the cabinet located below the staircase to the south of the fountain.

Daedalian Key #2: Central Hall 2

From the Floo Flame fast travel point, go up the large staircase and to the door leading out into the viaduct. However, turn right before going out the door. The Daedalian Key is found beneath the staircase to the right. It will fly down 1 flight of stairs in front of the door leading out in the viaduct.

Daedalian Key #13: Library

The Daedalian Key is found in the west side of the Library. It will fly over to the cabinet in the northeast corner of the library.

Daedalian Key #14: Faculty Tower 1

Fast travel to the Faculty Tower Floo Flame then head left. Enter the first door on your right. This will be locked behind a Level 1 Lock. You'll unlock the ability to unlock locks through Alohomora in the main quest The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament.

After entering the locked door, go up to the second floor, where the Daedalian Key is. It will fly downstairs to the cabinet beside the staircase.

Daedalian Key #15: Faculty Tower 2

On the floor directly beneath the Hospital Wing, you'll find the Daedalian Cabinet. Head southwest to the Clock Tower area, where the Daedalian Key is. It will fly back from where you came, to the cabinet.

Daedalian Key #16: Clock Tower

Daedalian Key Location	Daedalian Cabinet Location

Head down many flights of stairs to the lowest level of the Clock Tower area (just above the Clock Tower Courtyard), where the key can be found. The key will fly up two levels to the Daedalian Cabinet.
