How to Unlock Solved by the Bell and Location

Glacius Spell Needed

Solved by the Bell becomes available after completing the Madam Kogawa’s Assignment 1 main quest and unlocking the Glacius spell. You need the Glacius spell to get through the Henrietta's Hideaway dungeon and reach the Musical Map.

Objectives
1	Find the item. Head to Henrietta's Hideaway, then enter the door to the basement via the staircase on the east side of the hideaway. You can either sneak past or knock out the Ashwinder soldiers patrolling the hideaway.
2	Use Henrietta's map to find the treasure. Inside Henrietta's Hideaway, there's a statue to the north. Light it with Incendio. It will then rotate to reveal a block. Use Accio to bring the block to the pedestal in the east.
2a	Light up the block you brought over with fire using Incendio, then freeze the block beside it with Glacius. The door behind them will then open.
3	Find the item. Head through the door and defeat the Ashwinders. Head up the staircase to the northeast. Head south through the second floor to a larger room with even more Ashwinders.
3a	After defeating the Ashwinders, head to the marker behind a wall that'll disappear when you approach it. Collect the Musical Map on the table behind that wall.
4	Use the Musical Map to find the treasure. Once you have the map, head out to the room where you came from. Use Accio to bring a block over to a pedestal facing the north wall. Use Wingardium Leviosa on that block and Incendio on the block beside it to reveal a shortcut back to Manor Cape.
4a	The treasure map leads to Clagmar Castle at the center of the Clagmar Coast region. Look for the bells on the west side of the castle. Note: there's a lot of enemies in this area, so try to use your broom to fly in and avoid fighting them.
4b	After solving the bell puzzle, a chest will appear beside you. Open it to claim the Treasure-Seeker's Longcoat and 400 Gold.

How to Solve the Bell Puzzle

There are 9 bells separated into 2 columns; 5 bells on the left column and 4 bells on the right column. The order in which to hit them in is as follows:

1. Bottom bell (right column)
2. Middle bell (left column)
3. Second bell from the top (left column)
4. Second bell from the top (right column)
5. Middle bell (left column)
6. Top bell (left column)
7. Top bell (right column)
8. Second bell from the top (right column)

Can Be Completed Simultaneously With 2 Other Quests

The two other side quests Rescuing Rococo and The Hippogriff Marks the Spot also require you to explore Henrietta's Hideaway. You can start both before exploring the hideaway, so you can complete them simultaneously before retrieving the Musical Map deeper within the hideaway.

Avoid Enemies When You Can

You don't need to fight the enemies patrolling the exteriors of Henrietta's Hideaway and Clagmar Castle. To save you the time and hassle, you can simply sneak past them or use your broom to fly in.
