Console Release Date Countdown (February 10)

Hogwarts Legacy will release at midnight local time on February 10, 2023 for PS5 and Xbox Series X. This release time will be for all players who did not purchase the Deluxe or Collector's Edition of the game.

PC Release Date Countdown (February 10)

Hogwarts Legacy will release at 1 PM EST on February 10, 2023 for PC players. This release time will be for all players who did not purchase the Deluxe or Collector's Edition of the game.

Initial Release Date Countdown (Early Access)

Early access for Hogwarts Legacy has arrived as of midnight local time on February 7, 2023 for PS5 and Xbox Series X, and is now available for PC as of 1 PM EST on February 7, 2023. This is only available to players that purchase the Deluxe and Collector's Edition of the game.

Hogwarts Legacy's confirmed initial release date is February 10, 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game will drop on consoles at midnight local time.

PC Version Launches February 10 at 1 PM EST

PC players can start the game from 1 PM (EST) on February 10.

Early Access from February 7, 2023

Players who just can't wait to put on their wizarding robes can pre-order the Deluxe, Digital Deluxe, or Collector's Edition of the game and gain early access from February 7, 2023.

Unlocks at midnight local time for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

For early access holders on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, Hogwarts Legacy will be playable once midnight strikes in their local regions.

Players with accounts from regions near the top of the following list can play the game earlier than those near the bottom.

Delayed Release Date for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch

It was announced via twitter on December 14, 2022 that the PS4, Xbox One, and Switch versions of Hogwarts Legacy would be released at later dates to ensure the best experience possible.

Almost a month after its official release, it was announced that the PS4 and Xbox One versions will be released on May 5, 2023 instead of the fourth of April 2023. Switch players will still need to wait until July 25, 2023 to experience the magic.
