These are the records that you must beat to complete the courses in the Broom Trial side quests. These are the quests where you test out broom upgrades for Albie Weekes, the shopkeeper of Sprintwitches Sporting Needs in Hogsmeade, and race against Imelda Reyes, the Slytherin Quidditch Team Captain.

How to Unlock Broom Race

Complete Flight Test Side Quest

The Broom Race minigame unlocks after completing the Flight Test side quest. The side quest unlocks once you complete Flying class.

Don't Miss the Rings

Hogwarts Legacy - Don
Make sure to fly through the rings in order to avoid getting a 3-second penalty for every missed ring at the end of the trial.

Hit All Yellow Bubbles to Gain a Speed Boost

Hogwarts Legacy - Hit All Yellow Bubbles to Gain a Speed Boost
Additionally, it'd be beneficial to hit all 3 yellow bubbles that are lined up in front of the main rings.

These yellow rings give you a speed boost, but you do lose a bit of control over your broom, which could cause you to miss the main ring if you don't angle your approach properly.

If you're able to line up the yellow bubbles to the main ring in time, then go for it, but if it'll only cause you to miss, it'd be best to avoid them.

As soon as the race starts, press L3 on the left joystick to toggle flight speed. This helps you focus on maneuvering the broom as you fly through the rings.
