Hogwarts Legacy - Merlin Trial in South Hogwarts

Merlin Trials are activities that can be found around the map! They're solved in different ways but are the only means of increasing your inventory!

All Merlin Trial Locations and Solutions

Take on South Hogwarts Merlin Trials

For players still in the earlier stages of the game, we recommend taking on Merlin Trials in the South Hogwarts region. The trials in this location tend to be easier to complete and you can accomplish them with spells you get early in the game.

Receive Rewards From Exploration Challenges

By completing Merlin Trials, you'll unlock rewards from Exploration Challenges in the Field Guide!

Keep in mind that you do not automatically unlock the additional inventory slots so make sure to claim your rewards from the Exploration section of the Challenges menu.

How Many Inventory Slots Are Available?

Merlin Trials Challenge Rewards Give 20 Slots

Each tier of rewards snags you 4 extra slots for gear, bringing it to a total of 20 extra gear slots.
