Ancient Magic Traces

Ancient Magic Traces Completed	2	Additional Capacity Added to Your Ancient Magic Meter
	6	Additional Capacity Added to Your Ancient Magic Meter
	12	Additional Capacity Added to Your Ancient Magic Meter

Ancient Magic Traces Challenges require you to collect all the Ancient Magic orbs located within hotspots in the overworld. There are usually 3 traces in each hotspot that you need to collect, and you must complete a hotspot for it to register in your Challenges.

Pop Balloons

Pop Balloons Completed	2	Night Dancer Broom
	5	Lickety Swift Broom
	10	Wild Fire Broom
	15	Bright Spark Broom

To complete this challenge, you must pop the balloons found all over the overworld while riding on a broom or a flying mount by passing through them.

You must pop a group of 5 balloons for it to register as one completed challenge.

Landing Platform

Landing Platform Completed	2	Quidditch Captain's Uniform

	8	Quidditch Captain's Cape

Landing Platforms can be completed by finding the platforms located all around the overworld. You must then dismount your broom while on the platform.

Merlin Trials are a series of different puzzles created by Merlin himself! Completing them will reward you with increased storage space.

What are Exploration Challenges

Tracks Your In-Game Exploration

Exploration Challenges are a type of Challenge that is meant to track your progress in exploring the overworld of Hogwarts Legacy by completing puzzles scattered throughout the map. Specific rewards will be granted for each kind of Exploration Challenge as listed above.

How to Get Locked Exploration Challenges

To unlock Exploration Challenges, you must simply find their specific locations and solve a challenge in the overworld. Once you encounter and solve them, you will automatically open the locked challenges in the Challenges Menu.

How to Complete Exploration Challenges

Find the remaining challenges and solve them to complete them and obtain all the rewards. Note that after completing a tier, the number of challenges you finished will not carry over and you will have to start from 0 in the next tier. If you finished two Merlin Trials in the first tier, you will go back to zero out of six in the next tier.
