Infamous Foes in Hogsmeade Valley

Rampant Dugbog and How to Beat

Rampant Dugbog
	Level: 23 Enemy Type: Dugbog
	Nearest Floo Flame
	East North Ford Bog
Map Location	World Location

Be cautious and keep casting Revelio when searching for this foe as there will be other Dugbogs hiding nearby. When you start to engage with Rampant Dugbog or any other Dugbogs in the area, try to keep an eye on their mouths; when it opens and they reveal their tongue, this is them charging an attack. You can either dodge or counter-attack by casting a well-timed Levioso.

Tempeste Throne and How to Beat

	Level: 23 Enemy Type: Dark Wizard

	Falbarton Castle

There will be a few Poachers in the area so it would be best to take as many as you can with Petrificus Totalus before fighting Tempeste Throne. There will be a lot of items to throw in the area so make sure to maximize the battle area and use them.

Gwendolyn Zhou and How to Beat

	Level: 30 Enemy Type: Dark Wizard

	West Hogsmeade (Inside the Ashwinder Hideout near Hog's Head at Hogsmeade)
Map Location	World Location

Gwendolyn Zhou will be a few levels above your character but not that much of a gap that you won't be able to do anything about it. Time your Protego and hit back with Stupefy to get attacks off while she is immobilized.

You can also encounter Gwendolyn Zhou as part of Natty's relationship side quest: A Basis for Blackmail.

Bardolph Beaumont's Corpse and How to Beat

	Level: 25 Enemy Type: Undead
	Nearest Floo Flame
	North Ford Bog Entrance
Map Location	World Location

Bardolph Beaumont's Corpse is an Inferi, which means that you first need to light it on fire with Incendio or Confringo before you can do any effective damage.

You will encounter Bardolph Beaumont's Corpse during the Brother's Keeper side quest.

Pergit and How to Beat

	Level: 23 Enemy Type: Goblin
	Nearest Floo Flame
	Falbarton Castle

During your encounter with Pergit, he will not be alone there will be a lot of Loyalist goblins fighting alongside him. The enemies in this fight will be equipped with either purple or yellow shield so spells such as Glacius and Depulso are recommended as these can immobilize enemies and help avoid against getting overwhelmed.

Pergit can only be encountered on The Tale of Rowland Oakes side quest deep in the Korrow Ruins.

The Insatiable Spider and How to Beat

The Insatiable Spider
	Level: 25 Enemy Type: Spider
	Nearest Floo Flame
	Tangled Web in Aranshire
World Location

The Insatiable Spider is a Level 25 Spider that can only be found in Mary Portman's cottage during the quest, Tangled Web. It will fight with a number of other spiders, so be sure to prepare your fire spells like Incendio or Confringo.

Having spells to control the mobs is also recommended to keep you from having to deal with them early on!

Infamous Foes in Hogwarts Valley

The Grim and How to Beat

Infamous Foe	Enemy Info
The Grim
	Level: 26 Enemy Type: Mongrel
	Nearest Floo Flame
	Keenbridge
Map Location	World Location

The Grim can be found in a cave beside a stream of water in the southern part of Hogwarts Valley. This Infamous Foe will be fighting alongside some Inferi so equipping fire-based spells such as Confringo and Bombarda is highly recommended.

The White Wolf and How to Beat

	Level: 26 Enemy Type: Mongrel
	Nearest Floo Flame
	Keenbridge
Map Location	World Location

The White Wolf can be found in the same cave as The Grim. The White Wolf will be the more aggressive enemy as it will constantly perform a pounce attack on you. Popping an Edurus Potion can help mitigate that damage along with a well-timed Protego.

Quagmire Troll and How to Beat

	Northern South Sea Bog
Map Location	World Location

There will be some Dugbogs in the area so make sure to take them out first before engaging Quarmire Troll. In your actual fight against Quagmire Troll, maximize keep your distance as it will resort to throwing boulders at you. You can time your Protego and counter with Stupefy for a chance to attack right back.

	Brocburrow
Map Location	World Location

As with most enemies of this type, you can take advantage of your range and fight from a distance. If you get too far, Alexandra's Troll will start throwing rocks which you can deflect with a well-timed Protego.

Alexandra's Troll is part of the Troll Control side quest and you can start this quest by talking to Alexandra Ricketts. She will be located in front of a house right beside the Brocburrow Floo Flames.

	Brocburrow (Inside the Dale Family Tomb)

The Riparian Troll is an infamous enemy that can be found inside the Dale Family Tomb. You can access the Tomb at anytime to fight the Troll and explore the dungeon. The Dale Family Tomb is found just East of Brocburrow.

Belgruff the Bludgeoner and How to Beat

Belgruff the Bludgeoner
	Level: 20 Enemy Type: Undead
	Nearest Floo Flame
	Rookwood Castle
Map Location	World Location

Belgruff the Bludgeoner will have a lot of goblins with him so bring along a Mandrake to stall their attacks. Most of the goblins will start the fight with a red shield so equipping spells like Confringo or Expelliarmus can help make fighting them more manageable.

	Level: 20 Enemy Type: Dark Wizard
	Nearest Floo Flame
	North Feldcroft
Map Location	World Location

Catrin Haggarty will be fighting alongside some Ashwinders making this a busy fight. Taking Expelliarmus can be very beneficial as you can prevent enemy from casting spells.

Alternatively, players can avoid fighting Catrin Haggarty altogether by sneaking around the tent with The Disillusionment Charm and casting Petrificus Totalus on isolated Ashwinders.

Catrin Haggarty can only be encountered during The Lost Child side quest inside in an Ashwinder Tent.

Ogbert the Odd and How to Beat

	Level: 20 Enemy Type: Goblin
	Nearest Floo Flame
	North Poidsear Coast
Map Location	World Location

Ogbert the Odd can be found at the deep inside the Coastal Cavern along with lots of goblins. Ogbert and the goblins he fights with will have a mix of red and purple shields so equip your spells slots accordingly. This particular fight will take place in a close area so Incendio would be a good spell to equip.

Iona Morgan and How to Beat

	Poidsear Castle

The fight with Iona Morgan will be quite crowded as it takes places in a Poacher camp. Drinking a Thunderbrew Potion works well in this fight as it can keep the other Poachers at bay.

Grodbik and How to Beat

	Coastal Mine (Inside The Coastal Mine)
Map Location	World Location

You can find Grodbik inside The Coastal Mine accompanied by several goblins and an armored troll. If you have a Binding trait equipped, you can easily defeat him in one hit using Petrificus Totalus.

You can also encounter Grodbik as part of Lodgok's Loyalty main story quest as you need to travel down the mines in search for Lodgok.

Ailsa Travers and How to Beat

	Level: 25 Enemy Type: Dark Wizard
	Nearest Floo Flame
	West Manor Cape
Map Location	World Location

Many Inferi will appear from the ground as soon as you approach the area leading to Ailsa Travers. It is recommended to use stealth and cast Petrificus Totalus on them so you only need to deal with Ailsa once she appears.

If you have a Binding trait equipped, you can easily defeat her in one hit using Petrificus Totalus.

Lord of the Manor and How to Beat

Map Location	World Location

The Lord of the Manor is located in the same spot where Ailsa Travers will appear if you defeat the Inferni in the previous area. It is recommended to defeat the Inferni and Ailsa first before approaching this Infamous Foe.

The Lord of the Manor has the same moveset and weaknesses as a regular Inferius, so casting Confringo or Incendio is recommended to deplete his health.

Dunstan Trinity and How to Beat

	Level: 37 Enemy Type: Dark Wizard

	West Manor Cape
Map Location	World Location

Dunstan Trinity has the same movesets and weaknesses as the Ashwinder Executioner. Disarm him with Expelliarmus as he is about to cast a lightning attack to stun him, allowing you to switch to a different Ashwinder to defeat them first.

If you prefer a stealth approach, you can land on the second floor of the ruined castle and use Petrificus Totalus on the Ashwinders inside. You can also lure them inside by using a Basic Cast towards the direction you want them to go.

Silvanus Selwyn and How to Beat

	Level: 37 Enemy Type: Dark Wizard
	Nearest Floo Flame
	Clagmar Castle
Map Location	World Location

Silvanus Selwyn is located within a large bandit camp castle, so it is recommended to use a stealth approach and eliminate the Ashwinders first in the area.

If you have access to Unforgivable Curses, you can cast Crucio to stun him and then use Damage spells such as Confrigo and Expelliarmus to deplete his health.

Alternatively, you can use a Thunderbrew Potion or a Mandrake to stun him if you do not have access to Crucio.

The Absconder and How to Beat

The Absconder
	Level: 34 Enemy Type: Spider
	Nearest Floo Flame
	North Ford Bog Entrance
Map Location	World Location

The Absconder has two unblockable attacks wherein it slams its legs on the ground once and sometimes thrice. Use Damage Spells such as Incendio and Ancient Magic Throw to chip away its health. Do not use Levioso and Accio as the Infamous Foe is immune to it.

Tips For Fighting Infamous Foes

Level Up Your Character

As these enemies are level 20 and above, it is highly recommended to level up your character before attempting to defeat any Infamous Foe. While you can get away with fighting these enemies if they are 2 or 3 levels above you, some enemies are past level 30 and will one-shot you if the level gap is too big.

How to Level Up Fast

Equip Fire-Based Spells Against Inferi

Since a few of these Infamous Foes will have Inferi fighting with them, it is best to have fire-based spells in your spell slots. We recommend having at least 2 fire-based spells equipped when fighting Inferi to maximize the damage they take.

Combat Guide: How to Fight

Obtain Rewards for Defeating Infamous Foes

Defeating a certain number of Infamous Foes will count towards completing a Combat Challenge involving these type of enemies. You can obtain gear after defeating a set number of Infamous Foes.
