Hogwarts Legacy - How to Change Gear Appearance

Transmog allows you to change the appearance of your Gear while keeping your stats in Hogwarts Legacy. Read on to learn how to change gear appearance and more!

Press Change Appearance in the Gear Menu

Pause the game and select the Gear menu.

Hover over to the gear you want to change and press the Square/X button to change its appearance.

Choose the gear you want to replace it with.

You Keep the Appearance of Picked Up Gear

Every gear or clothing that you pick up will register its appearance into your inventory. This means you can keep its appearance even when the gear is not in your inventory anymore after selling or destroying them.

Transmog or changing gear appearance allows you to choose your outfit and decide what to look like while maintaining the best stats.

Press the Triangle Button to Put the Hood Up

Hogwarts Legacy - Press the Triangle Button to Put the Hood Up
You can toggle the hood on or off in the Gear menu by pressing the toggle button, which is Triangle for the PlayStation and Right Click with the PC, while hovering over the Cloaks and Robes gear icon.
