The Bombarda Spell that you will learn from Professor Howin is a Damage-type Spell that can cause massive damage on a target and other nearby enemies. This can also be used to destroy large obstacles.

| 1 |  Acquire a Diricawl with the nab-sack You can use your Field Guide to track the locations of the required Beasts. The nearest Diricawl Den from Hogwarts is on Hogwarts Valley, south of the castle.▶ Capturing moving Beasts |
| 2 |  Acquire a Giant Purple Toad with the nab-sack You'll find a Giant Purple Toad Den in the South Sea Bog, east of Irondale. It's close to a Dugbong nest, so be careful. |
| 3 | Attend Beasts Class during the day |
| 4 | Return to Professor Howin You will learn how to cast Bombarda from Professor Howin. |
Use Control Spells Before Capturing Beasts
You can use Control and Force Spells on Beasts to make them easier to capture. The most effective spells for holding beasts in place include Arresto Momentum, Glacius, and Levioso.
Sneak toward them with Disillusionment then use a Control spell. Cast another one as they start moving so you have enough time to get them with your Nab-Sack.
