Hogwarts Legacy - How to Climb the Ladder at the South Hogsfield Ancient Magic Spot
There is a partially broken ladder at the Ancient Magic Spot south of Hogsfield that you can reach from the second floor in Hogswarts Legacy. Read on to learn other ways to reach the area with the partially broken ladder and more!

Reach the Area from the Outside

The correct way to reach the area with the partially broken ladder on the second floor is to head outside of the ruined fort and find the archway covered in spider webs. Use Confringo or Incendio to destroy the spider web to reach the area.

Use the Block to Reach the Second Floor

Another way to reach the area is to use Accio on the block and place it near the tall ledge to serve as a platform. This allows you to climb to the second floor leading to the area with the partially broken ladder.

Moving the block to the area does not work

If you try to move the block and use it as a platform to reach the partially broken ladder, the block will disappear as soon as you enter from the archway.

Use the Broom to Ascend and Dismount on the Second Floor

If you are inside the area and want to reach the second floor, you can use the broom to ascend and dismount. Make sure to dismount at the open area of the second floor as descending on top of the ladder gives you the "Landing is unavailable right now " message.
