 Graphorn
|
Graphorns are large mountain-dwelling beasts that have a tough hide and two sharp horns. The tentacle-like appendages on Graphorns' faces are used for capturing food and tending to their young. Graphorns are known for their aggressive nature; however, a witch or wizard has been known to befriend one in rare circumstances. |
 Hippogriff
|
The Hippogriff is a majestic beast with the front half of an eagle and back half of a horse. The Hippogriff can soar great distances and commands the respect of anyone who dares to approach it. |
 Thestral
|
Threstrals are skeletal looking creatures that resemble a horse. They can only be seen by those who have faced death, but despite their appearance they are kind. |

How to Unlock Beast Mounts
Finish the High Keep Quest
You can start getting Beast Mounts once you're done with the High Keep Quest. You'll also get a Hippogriff named Highwing as a reward for finishing it.

How to Get (Rescue) Beast Mounts
Get and Use the Nab-Sack
Before you can rescue and get Beast Mounts, you'll have to get the Nab-Sack first from The Elf, the Nab-Sack, and the Loom Quest. After that, look for Beast Den icons on the map and use the Nab-Sack on the Beasts to get them.
You can cast non-damaging spells, like the Disillusionment, Levioso, and Accio, to catch them easily. Most of them will run when they see you, so having those spells can help you out!
