Learning the Dark Arts through the Avada Kedavra Unforgivable Curse does not have any consequences in-game, other than NPCs reacting negatively to your use of it in public. Gameplay wise, it's even more beneficial to you, as it's another spell added to your loadout.

It depends on how you imagine your character's personality to be, if you want them to learn it or not.

Note that the Avada Kedavra choice at the end of In the Shadow of the Relic only affects whether you learn it at that point or not. If you choose not to learn Avada Kedavra then, you can simply talk to Sebastian at the Undercroft at any point after completing the quest for another chance to learn it.

However, that offer will become unavailable if you choose to turn Sebastian in during In the Shadow of the Fate, the quest after In the Shadow of the Relic.
