Hogwarts Legacy - No Main Quest

Several main and side quests in Hogwarts Legacy will only appear in your quest log after reading a message, completing an assignment or another quest, or after waiting for time to pass.

While this isn't necessarily a bug, it may hinder other players from progressing through the game's main story.

Hogwarts Legacy - Owl Post

Some quests will only be added to your quest log after checking out a related message in your Owl Post. If you don't get new missions, chances are you missed a notification that you received a new Owl Post, so try checking for new messages in the menu.

Complete an Assignment

Hogwarts Legacy - Completing Assignments

Other quests will only appear in your quest log after obtaining a new spell and completing an assignment from a professor.

Check your quest list if you have any pending assignments to complete. Once you finish them, you may receive new quests to take on!

Wait Until New Quests Appear

Hogwarts Legacy - Waiting In-game

If no new quests are still popping up in your feed, you can also try waiting. The game usually takes some time before it can load the next main mission, so try walking around a bit until you get a notification that new quests are available.

You can also try forcing the game to change from daytime to nighttime or vice versa. You can do this in the Map menu.
