Dark Wizards

Dark Wizards Defeated	10	Dragonhide Protector's Cloak
	20	Protector's Ensemble
	40	Protego Shielding I
	70	Protego Shielding II
	100	Protego Shielding III

This challenge requires you to defeat a number of Dark Wizards in each tier to get rewards. All kinds of Dark Wizards are counted under this challenge, and can be encountered in poaching sites or bandit camps.

Dugbogs

Dugbogs Defeated	5	Amphibial Protection I
	10	Amphibial Protection II
	20	Amphibial Protection III

Defeat an amount of any kind of Dugbog to complete this challenge and gain its rewards. You can encounter Dugbogs in swamps or bogs, by the shore, or in Dugbog Lairs.

Goblins

Goblins Defeated	30	Goblin-Silver Resistance I
	60	Goblin-Silver Resistance II
	100	Goblin-Silver Resistance III

You must defeat a multitude of Goblins in each tier to complete this challenge. Besides in Main or Side Quests, you will encounter Goblins in bandit camps or locations close to mining areas.

Inferi

Inferi Defeated	10	Necromantic Protection I
	20	Necromantic Protection II
	36	Necromantic Protection III

To complete this challenge, defeat as much Inferi as you can to meet each tier. Inferi are mostly found near abandoned buildings and inside crypts.

Infamous Foes

Infamous Foes Defeated	3	Avenging Wolf Mask
	6	Avenging Owl Mask
	12	Avenging Raven Mask

Infamous foes are a mix of different enemies that are more well known and named in the Wizarding World. Defeat these enemies scattered throughout the overworld to complete this challenge.

Spiders

Spiders Defeated	10	Spider Slayer's Armor
	20	Spider Slayer Helmet
	40	Anti-Venom I
	70	Anti-Venom II
	100	Anti-Venom III

Defeat an amount of any kind of Spider to complete this challenge and gain its rewards. You can encounter Spiders in Spider Lairs or near areas with giant spider webs.

Trolls

Spiders Defeated	10	Spider Slayer's Armor
	20	Spider Slayer Helmet
	40	Anti-Venom I
	70	Anti-Venom II
	100	Anti-Venom III

To complete this challenge, defeat as much Trolls as you can to meet each tier. Trolls are mostly found in Troll Lairs or within Goblin bandit camps.

Mongrels

Mongrels Defeated	10	Lupus Protection I
	20	Lupus Protection II
	30	Lupus Protection III

Mongrels are wolves that you can mostly find in Mongrel Lairs, but you can also encounter them wandering in the highlands far from towns or Hamlets. Defeat Mongrels to complete this challenge.

Dueling Feats

Dueling Feats Completed	5	Officer's Uniform
	10	Officer's Hat
	20	Halloween Pumpkin Mask
	32	Autumn Festival Coat
	42	Demiguise Mask

Dueling Feats are prompts that you must follow during battle to complete this challenge. Dueling Feats can be performed against any enemy.

What are Combat Challenges

Tracks Your In-Game Progress in Combat

Combat Challenges are a type of Challenge that is meant to track your progress in defeating the enemies of Hogwarts Legacy. Specific rewards will be granted for each kind of Combat Challenge as listed above.

How to Get Locked Combat Challenges

To unlock Combat Challenges, you must simply defeat a type of enemy for the first time in the overworld. Upon your first encounter and after defeating them, you will automatically open the locked challenges in the Challenges Menu.

Combat Guide: How to Fight

How to Complete Combat Challenges

Find enemies and defeat them to complete and obtain all the rewards. Note that after completing a tier, the number of challenges you finished will not carry over and you will have to start from 0 in the next tier.

If you defeated three Infamous Foes in the first tier, you will go back to zero out of six in the next tier.
