During Search for the Final Keeper

You unlock Take the Biscuit by completing the second part of the Prepare for your Search for the Final Keeper task, which includes the quests In the Shadow of the Estate and The Elf, the Nab-Sack, and the Loom.

Take the Biscuit Walkthrough

Objectives
1	Talk to the goblin in Hogsmeade. The goblin Garnuff is located west of the West Hogsmeade Floo Flame fast travel point, under the bridge.
2	Find the Poacher Camp where Biscuit is held. The poacher camp is located east of the East North Ford Bog Floo Flame fast travel point. Use fast travel and your broom to get to it quickly.
3	Rescue Biscuit. Defeat all the Poachers in the camp. Afterward, equip your nab-sack.
3a	Use Alohomora to open the Level 1 Lock cage with all the Mooncalves in the middle of the camp. Get ready for all of them to come running out.
3b	Biscuit is a white female (♀) Mooncalf. You can identify which Mooncalf is Biscuit by looking at the top of the screen when auto-locking on a Mooncalf. Use the nab-sack to rescue Biscuit.
4	Return to Garnuff. Talk to Garnuff, who's at the same spot in Hogsmeade, to complete the quest.

Update to the Latest Patch

The March 8 update addresses the bug in the patch notes and has fixed the missing lock from the poacher's cage during the quest.

Do Not Unlock the Cage Before Starting the Quest

Currently, there is a bug that occurs if you open the Mooncalf cage at the bandit camp before starting this side quest. This causes the lock to disappear from the cage, preventing you from rescuing Biscuit the Mooncalf.

As a fix for this bug has yet to arrive, it's best to just avoid unlocking the cage before starting the side quest to prevent this bug from occuring for now. The cage is located above.

Ready Your Nab-sack Before Opening the Cage

The Mooncalves are all going to come running out of the cage once it's unlocked, so best not to be caught unprepared. You'll have to quickly identify which one is Biscuit too, so that you don't waste time walking around the camp checking each Mooncalf running around the camp.
