How to Unlock

Lodgok's Loyalty unlocks after completing In the Shadow of the Mountain and reading Lodgok's Owl Post regarding one of Ranrok's drills.

You must also reach level 24 first to unlock the quest.

Quest Objectives

1. Find the Entrance to the Mine

Make your way to the Coastal Mine to start the quest. This area is located north of Tower Tunnel, where the previous quest took place, so you can fast travel to its Floo Flame if you've unlocked it.

Goblins and Trolls are guarding the mine's entrance so be prepared.

2. Search for Lodgok

Head down the stairs until you reach the first area with some Loyalists. Before you hop on the cart, look to your right to find a small Chest. Ride the cart to the next area.

Follow the path and turn right on the stairs to find a boiler. Ignite it with Confringo or Incendio, then enter the room to your east. Pull the platform with Accio and use it to cross to the other side.

Clear the next area of goblins and turn right, where you will find a high ledge with a box. Pull the box with Accio and climb up. Walk along the path and you will find a room with a level 3 lock, containing a Chest and other loot.

Return to the main area and enter the room north to find another boiler that you should fire up. Right in front of this boiler is a small Chest. Walk further north and take the lift down the area below.

Once you're on the lower level, ignite the boiler next to you, then take out the enemies on the floor including Grodbik. After the fight, open the Legendary Chest on the other end of the room then go back up.

Return to the main area and run all the way west to find stairs that lead to the upper level. Loot the Chest nearby then climb the ledges ahead until you end up in a small area with a steel cover on the floor.

Remove the cover with Accio and climb down to find a room with some chests including a Collection Chest. Open the Collection Chest to receive the Ornamental Stands then open the circular door, loot another Chest outside, then ride the conveyor belts ahead to get back to the main area.

Now check the lower area where the objective marker is pointing at then Accio your way to it via the heavy platform below. Defeat the enemies in the next area and open the small Chest to your left. Go down the stairs south and follow the narrow path to find a small Chest at the end.

Head back up and turn right to find a cart that you can ride to a hidden area. Pull the handle on top of the circular door and open the Collection Chest inside to obtain the Painting.

Ride on the cart again to return to the previous area then ignite the boiler to the west to activate a lift. Take the lift up and follow the path until you run into a cutscene.

3. Defeat All Enemies

Use the throwable objects in the cave to quickly deal with the Goblins then unleash your Ancient Magic and other Damage spells on the Troll.

4. Collapse All Five Pillars to Destroy the Drill

Use damaging spells like Confringo to destroy the five pillars. You can use Revelio to make it easier to spot them.

5. Exit the Mine

After the cutscene, open the gate ahead and immediately turn left to find the exit to the mine and complete the quest.
