Hogwarts Legacy is confirmed to be an open-world game where players can explore a vast wizarding world set in the 1800s, filled with magical activities and areas to explore.
Players will be able to visit iconic locations surrounding Hogwarts and the nearby village of Hogsmeade.
Explore the dangers and uncover the mysteries that await you in this magical world filled with dark wizards and beasts to battle.
Travel around the game's open world using your personal broomstick and enjoy the beautiful scenic views of the Scottish Highlands. Brooms can be bought and customized to the player's own liking at the Hogsmeade shop.
Helping out the shop owner will unlock the option to purchase upgrades for your broom!
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy is a large campus filled with secrets and hidden passageways for you to uncover and explore. There will also be pages hovering around the grounds of Hogwarts which are one of the game's collectibles.
Hamlets are locations outside of Hogwarts that you can visit anytime to take on quest opportunities. These quests provide you with lore about the relationships of those characters in that area as well as the opportunity to venture out to areas beyond Hogwarts and Hogsmeade.
Players who ordered the Deluxe Edition of Hogwarts Legacy will have access to the Dark Arts Battle Arena. The arena is located in the Forbidden Forest and wizards brave enough to step foot into the arena will fight through waves of enemies and challenges.
Those who succeed will earn different kinds of cosmetics as a reward.
The Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff common rooms can be accessed at any time. Visit these places to hang out with your fellow wizards and get to know your fellow schoolmates.
