How to Unlock Ghost of Our Love and Location

Finish House-Exclusive Quest After Trials of Merlin

Ghost of Our Love will become available during the house-exclusive quest that follows the latter quests in the Live as a Student Until Professor Fig Returns task, Potions Class and Trials of Merlin. The names of the house-exclusive quests are listed below.

Starting Location

To start Ghost of Our Love, you need to find the Map With Floating Candles. The location of Map with Floating Candles differs per House you chose.

Objectives
1 Inspect the Map
Interact with the Map With Floating Candles. You will obtain a piece of parchment with an illustration of a forest, a bridge, and candles.

Hogwarts Legacy Floating Candles Map Treasure
Use the Map with Floating Candles to find the treasure
Head to the Forbidden Forest fast travel point at night. The side quest won't be available in the area during daytime.

Hogwarts Legacy Floating Candles
Use Lumos and follow the Floating Candles
Walk towards the lamp post near the bridge and cast Lumos. Floating candles will then appear, and all you need to do is follow them through the Forbidden Forest.

Hogwarts Legacy Ghost of Our Love Treasure
Open the chest to finish the quest
At the end of the path, you will come across a table and two chairs, surrounded by floating candles. A chest will also spawn next to the picnic set. Open it to finish the side quest.

This side quest is pretty straightforward, as all you need to do is follow the candles. If you get lost, simply look for the candles or head back to the Forbidden Forest's fast travel point to restart.
