While you can't become an Animagus, there will be some that you encounter in Hogwarts Legacy. Read on to learn about Animagi and where they can appear in the game!

Animagi were a common thing in the Harry Potter movies and books, with the famous Marauders being a group of them! They had illegally undergone the process of becoming Animagi to help Remus Lupin during his werewolf transformations.
While Hogwarts Legacy allows you to do many of the magical activities you could expect, becoming an Animagus is not one of them.
The process in the lore of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter requires over a month of preparation to create the perfect potion.
During the Mum's the Word) Side Quest, you will learn that Natty is an Animagus and has the ability to turn into an gazelle. During this side quest you can also ask her about what it's like being an Animagus and how she became one.

Animagi can choose to fight either in human or animal form with the latter the more likely form it will take. |
Animagus will still be present in the game either as NPCs or enemy wizards. Players are more likely to face Animagus as enemies since it is one of the Poacher enemy types.
