How to Get Moonstones: All Moonstone Locations
Moonstones are in-game resources or currencies used for Conjurations in the Room of Requirement in Hogwarts Legacy. Read on to learn more about Moonstones, where to get Moonstones, and how they are used inside the Room of Requirement!
How to Use Moonstones
Select and Conjure a Conjuration
Selecting an object from the Conjuration List menu will show the required amount of Moonstones to conjure the item. If you meet the necessary amount of Moonstones needed for that Conjuration, you'll be able to conjure the object and place it anywhere in the Room of Requirement.
Removing or deconstructing conjurations will earn you back a decent amount of Moonstones. Additionally, you can unlock more Conjurations by buying Conjuration Recipes from the Tomes and Scrolls shop in Hogsmeade.
How to Get Moonstones
Obtain from the Material Refiner
The best way to farm for Moonstones is to place a Material Refiner in your Room of Requirement. This conjuration allows you to passively harvest 10 Moonstones for 10 minutes.
By default, you can place at least 3 Material Refiner but you can increase the budget by completing Room of Requirement quests.

Purchase the Material Refiner for 1500 Coins
You can purchase the Material Refiner in Tomes and Scrolls for 1500 coins. Purchasing the spellcraft allows you to place the refiner in your Room of Requirement.
All Hogsmeade Shops and Locations
Use Evanesco to Obtain Moonstones from Furniture
Another way to obtain Moonstones fast is to use Evanesco and remove the artworks and furniture that are placed by default inside the Room of Requirement. This gives you at least 100 Moonstones if you have managed to remove all the furniture at the first floor and second floor.
Harvest at The Highlands
You can find Moonstones all over The Highlands in the open world. They are appear in the form of blue crystals and you can use Basic Cast and other spells to harvest them.
They can also be found inside Vivariums and can be harvested from them directly while you're caring for Beasts and other creatures!
Moonstones respawn
It takes a while before a Moonstone respawns on the same place where you harvested it. It is recommended to look for a different spot to harvest the material instead.
