Pre-orders of Hogwarts Legacy have been cancelled and refunded for the XBox and Playstation due to delays in release and the lack of updates from players on pre-order preferences. Read on to learn more about the cancellation and what you can do!
According to the official twitter for Warner Brothers Support, there was a delay in the release of the Xbox One version of the game. Because of this, pre-orders were cancelled.
Witches and Wizards can check their emails for information regarding the pre-order cancellation. Be sure to check your Spam folders as some mail can get lost in there!
Witches and Wizards who bought the PlayStation version of the game should have received an email that required them to update their pre-order preferences. Those who did not do so before December 20, 2022 had their Digital Deluxe Editions refunded.
Players can attempt to re-order the game once it has been made available again in their respective stores! If your refund was credited back to you, you should have no problems purchasing the game again!
