Should You Tip the Musician Hogwarts Legacy

Ernie Lark is a Musician you can tip for fun little scenes and music in Hogwarts Legacy! Read on to learn whether you should tip him and what happens when you do.

Should You Tip The Musician?

Entirely Optional, But Fun

Ernie Lark Musician
Ernie Lark is a simple musician trying to earn and work his way up! Every time you see him, he'll perform the same tune asking for 10 Gold as a tip.

Choosing not to tip will keep him asking for more, while choosing to tip him will add another musical instrument to his repertoire and change the tune a little each time!

All Instruments and Scenes

First Meeting

The first time you meet him, he'll only have one instrument! Tip him and he'll thank you, because instruments are expensive.

Second Instrument

The second time you meet him, he'll happily show off his new snake-like instrument!

Third Instrument

By the third time you meet him after tipping, he'll now have a Lute!

Fourth Instrument

At this point, he's getting fancy with a shiny new violin!

Fifth Instrument

The band can't be complete without an accordion!

Sixth Instrument

By the last instrument, you'll be his favourite! He'll have a drum banging away front and center! Tipping him won't add anymore instruments at this point.

Where to Find the Musician?

Hogsmeade and Surrounding Hamlets

Find him in Hogsmeade
While he can be found in different hamlets, it's easiest to find him in Hogsmeade where he can be heard performing!
