How to Unlock
The Elf, the Nab-Sack and the Loom quest is part of the Search for the Final Keeper series of tasks that includes main quests like The Helm of Urtkot, Beasts Class, and The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament. You must also reach level 15 first before you can start the quest.

| Description | In the Room of Requirement, Deek showed me the nab-sack, which I can use to transport magical beasts. We then went to the Highlands and rescued a Puffskein, a Jobberknoll, and a Mooncalf. I also learned that beasts provide magical materials when properly cared for. |
Unlocks the Nab-Sack
The Nab-Sack is a magical bag that allows you to rescue beasts and put them in the Vivarium, safe from other poachers. Feed and brush them to gain their affection and obtain materials for upgrading your gears with traits!

| 9 | Rescue a Mooncalf Mooncalves only appear at night so if you're doing the quest at day, open your map and switch to nighttime. ▶ How to Get Mooncalf ▶ Capturing nimble beasts |

| 12 | Enter the Vivarium and release the captured beasts |
| 13 | Collect a Jobberknoll feather, a Puffskein fur, and a Mooncalf fur You'll have to use both the Beast Feed and the Petting Brush to collect these materials from the beasts. |
| 14 | Speak with Deek |
| 15 | Exit the Vivarium |
| 16 | Conjure an Enchanted Loom Equip the Conjuring Spell and choose the Enchanted Loom under the Utility category. |
| 17 | Add a trait to and upgrade an item of clothing |
| 18 | Tell Deek you have used the Enchanted Loom |
Capturing Nimble Beasts
Beasts will run if startled and whenever you use your Nab-Sack. Since this gear needs time to capture a Beast, fast-moving ones like Mooncalves will be difficult to capture as they can get out of range in a short time.
Use Control or Force Spells like Arresto Momentum, Levioso, and Accio to immobilize them before using your Nab-Sack.
