Use Conjuring Spell and Conjuration Recipes to Decorate the Room

Conjuring Spell Hogwarts Legacy

You can create various decorations and furniture and set up potion stations, potting tables, and other utility tools inside the Room of Requirement with the use of the Conjuring Spell.

The Conjuring Spell allows you to create these decorations and furniture from Conjuration Recipes which you can then use to design and personalize the Room.

Do note that this isn't free as you need Moonstones to conjure objects from recipes. There is also a limit to how many objects can be placed inside the room, referred to as the budget, but you can increase this as you complete more Room of Requirement quests.

Cast Altering Spell to Customize Objects

Hogwarts Legacy - Altering Spell

After placing objects in the Room of Requirement, you can personalize your own space even further by customizing the objects you placed with the use of the Altering Spell.

Cast the Altering Spell at an object to move it around the room or change its size, color, or style into Scientific, Botanical, Eclectic, or Gothic.

You can also use the Altering Spell to change the walls, bookshelves, archways. and even the main ceiling of the room itself!

Apply Changes to All Parts of the Room

When customizing the physical appearance of the Room, you can apply the changes to all walls, bookshelves, and archways within the Room.

This is handy if you want your Room of Requirement to have a single, core style!

Talk to Deek to Change the Room's Ambiance

If you want to experience a different vibe inside the Room, you can talk to Deek to change the ambiance of the Room of Requirement.

Changing the ambiance will change the lighting or even the time of day inside the Room.

Use Evanesco to Delete Objects

Hogwarts Legacy - Evanesco

if you want to remove items inside the Room, you can cast Evanesco at it. Doing so will give you some Moonstones which you can use to place new objects.

If you want a completely blank slate when starting out, you can delete all the existing objects inside the room. Removing all these items will yield over 100 Moonstones.

Purchase More Stations from Tomes and Scrolls

As you progress through the game, you might find yourself limited with the available stations in the Room of Requirement. Fortunately, you can visit Tomes and Scrolls in Hogsmeade to purchase more of these stations!

Your Own Personal Space in Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy - Room of Requirement Overview

The Room of Requirement is your own personal space that you can use to upgrade gear, brew potions, grow plants, take care of your magical beasts, or simply decorate to your heart's content. You can place objects inside the room using Conjuration recipes and Moonstones.

Room of Requirement in the Books and Movies

In the Wizarding World of the books and movies, the Room of Requirement is a secret room that appears when a person is in need of something. The room itself will transform and match itself to meet the user's needs!

During Harry's time, it became the meeting place for Dumbledore's Army and allowed them to train their skills!
