How to Unlock The Lost Child and Location

Part of Natty Onai's Questline

The Lost Child is a side quest unlocked as part of Natty Onai's Relationship questline. In order to unlock The Lost Child quest, you first need to complete the main quest The High Keep.

Additionally, you'll also need to complete the main quest Astronomy Class, if you didn't already do that quest before The High Keep.

The Lost Child World View
Meet Natty in Lower Hogsfield.

Natty is standing beside the Floo Flame fast travel point to Lower Hogsfield. You'll have to Wait until it's daytime in order to speak to her and begin the quest.

The Lost Child Step 2
Speak with Mrs. Bickle.

Talk to Johanna Bickle, the woman behind Natty.

Find Archie's hideout.

Follow Natty south to the hideout.
4 Search Archie's hideout.

Track Archie by casting Revelio.

A trail of orange footsteps will start to appear once you cast Revelio.

Follow Archie's trail.

Follow Natty on the trail of glowing footprints heading southwest. Use Revelio again when the footprints stop glowing.

Defeat the wolves.

You'll be attacked by mongrels while following the trail.

Investigate the area.

Walk southwest and investigate the yellow satchel hanging from a tree.
9 Track Archie by casting Revelio.

Cast Revelio once again and continue following the glowing footsteps southwest.

Follow Archie's trail.

Follow Natty/the trail of glowing footprints southwest, past the West Hogwarts Valley Floo Flame fast travel point. Use Revelio when the footprints stop glowing.

Follow the trail.

Follow Natty down the path west until you come across a group of Ashwinders.

Enter the Ashwinder's charmed tent.

Defeat the Ashwinders in the area then enter the large tent in the middle of the camp.

Find Archie Bickle.

Head through the tent and defeat Ashwinders along the way. Archie is in a cage on the lowest level of the northeast side of the tent.

Unlock the cage.

The cage is locked with a Level 1 Lock. Use Alohomora to open the cage.

Speak with Archie.

Speak with Mrs. Bickle.

Fast travel back to Lower Hogsfield and talk to Johanna Bickle after she's done talking to Archie. This will complete the quest.

Just Stick to Natty

When following the trail, make sure to stick to Natty, as she also follows the trail and the quest will fail if you stray too far from her.
