Hogwarts Legacy - How to Reach Poidsear Coast

You can reach Poidsear Coast at the southern area of the World Map to unlock the Coasting Along Trophy in Hogwarts Legacy. Read on to know how to reach Poidsear Coast, where it is located, and more!

Travel to the Coastal Cavern

Hogwarts Legacy - Coastal Cavern Map View

Using a mount or just on foot, you can travel to Coastal Cavern as soon as you unlock the World Map during the The Girl From Uagadou Quest. This is the area that you have to cross just before reaching Poidsear Coast.

Land on the Merlin Trial and Enter Coastal Cavern

Hogwarts Legacy - Merlin Trial near Coastal Cavern

The Coastal Cavern is a No-Flying Zone and you cannot fly over the mine to get to Poidsear Coast nor can you ride your broom inside the tunnel. Land your broom on the Merlin Trial just outside the cavern, and enter the mine.

Enemies are Level 20 and Above

The mine will be swarming with Goblins and other enemies that are level 20 or above. Even though you are free to explore this area as soon as you unlock the World Map, enemies with a higher level than you will be harder to defeat.

If your level is too low to engage in combat, you can run through the mine without stopping to fight the enemies, or you can use the Disillusionment Charm to go undetected for the majority of the tunnel.

Get the Trophy Upon Reaching the Exit

Hogwarts Legacy - Receiving the Coasting Along Trophy

You will receive the Coasting Along trophy and achievement as soon as you reach the exit of the Coastal Cavern Mine and reach Poidsear Coast.

Your trophy will be listed in the full list of trophies that you can access in the Home Menu of your console.
