Unfortunately, it has been confirmed that players will not be able to enter the Chamber of Secrets in Hogwarts Legacy.
The reason is most likely because the events of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets will not be able to come to pass if players could already enter the Chamber of Secrets and kill the Basilisk during the events of Hogwarts Legacy.
While there is no way to enter the Chamber of Secrets in Hogwarts Legacy, the game still has references to this forbidden area in the Hogwarts Castle.
In the Harry Potter books, the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets is the second-floor girls' lavatory, known during the events of the Harry Potter books as Moaning Myrtle's bathroom.
This location is also yet to be called Moaning Myrtle's Bathroom, since Moaning Myrtle's death to the Basilisk guarding the Chamber of Secrets is set to happen around half a century after the events of Hogwarts Legacy. However, in the official book, The Art and Making of Hogwarts Legacy, the location is referred to as such.

Who said you could kill the snake. That we believe the events of harry potter have to do at all with the plot of this standalone is a little reachy. I don't think you can do much with hogwarts without including those crucial elements to the series which predate Harry Potter entirely.
