Should You Get the Fwooper Feather?
Choice Does Not Affect Anything
Your choice to get the Fwooper feather or not during Potions Class only changes the dialogue at the end of the quest.
It also does not affect the Garreth Weasley's side quest, Dissending for Sweets. It will unlock afterward regardless of what you choose.
The decision comes down to personal preference.
If you want your character to be mischievous, then you can get the Fwooper feather. However, if you'd like for your character to be by the book, then you can choose not to get the feather.

Getting and Giving the Fwooper Feather
| Choice | Outcome |
|---|---|
| Getting the feather and giving it to Garreth | Garreth will brew mini-fireworks and Professor Sharp will speak to you for helping him. |
| Not getting the feather | Garreth will still brew the fireworks, but Professor Sharp will tell you he's happy you stayed on task. |
| Getting the feather and not giving it to Garreth | Garreth will still brew the fireworks, but Professor Sharp will tell you that's happy you stayed on task and that you can keep the feather. |
If you tell Garreth that you will get the Fwooper feather, you'll be locked into getting the feather from Professor Sharp's office and giving it to him.
However, if you decline to get the Fwooper feather, you can still retrieve it from the office and give it to Garreth.

Talking to Professor Sharp After Giving Garreth the Fwooper Geather
| Choice | Outcome |
|---|---|
| I'm sorry about that. | Professor Sharp will go soft on you for taking responsibility for your actions. |
| I don't know what you mean. | Professor Sharp will reprimand you and warn you to start taking responsibility for your actions. |
Both choices will lead into Professor Sharp then commending the potion you brewed.
