The choice comes at the end of the main quest Welcome to Hogwarts, but doesn't affect the outcome of the quest nor the rewards received.

Whether you tell Professor Weasley the truth or lie, your conversations with both her and Professor Fig ultimately end the same. Feel free to choose the dialogue option based on what you imagine your character's personality to be.
If you lie to Professor Weasley, then she'll note that your story lines up almost exactly with what Professor Fig told her. If you tell her the truth, then she'll be surprised that you and Professor Fig were exploring ruins, but she'll trust that there's a reason that Professor Fig kept that from her.
Additionally, regardless of what you choose, Professor Fig will assure you that Professor Weasley is a brilliant teacher, who doesn't need to know everything that you get up to.
