If you already got sorted in a house, you can skip all the steps except for linking it to your WB Games account!

Players are free to choose a house once they reach the Sorting Ceremony in Hogwarts Legacy. It means you can get into the Hufflepuff House without answering the quiz, but you'll miss out some exclusive rewards!

Hufflepuff Common Room

Students who are in the Hufflepuff House are hardworking, loyal, caring, and have a warm heart towards every living things.

The Hufflepuff Common Room has a forest-like and earthly design which compliments their traits. You can find this Common Room below the ground, on the same corridor as the kitchens.

Poppy Sweeting

Poppy Sweeting is a kindhearted witch in Hufflepuff with great knowledge and deep love for creatures in general. She even believes that creatures have more redeeming features than most people. She also doesn't approve of poachers and everyone that's working with them.

The Hufflepuff Uniform has a yellow and black color with the Badger emblem on the top left chest part. You will receive the outfit if you choose to be in the Hufflepuff House!

Helga Hufflepuff

Helga Hufflepuff is the founder of the Hufflepuff House, which is named after her. Helga is known for her talents in Charms, as well as in cooking. Her recipes are still being served until to this day and being enjoyed by all the students in Hogwarts!

Newt Scamander

Newt Scamander is a famous Magizoologist and the writer of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, representing the Hufflepuff House. Seeing his overall achievements, he proves Hufflepuffs are not pushovers and can acquire huge accomplishments.

Cedric Diggory

Cedric Diggory is known as the Captain and the Seeker of the Hufflepuff's Quidditch team, which led him to meet and compete with Harry Potter. Because he is also known for being perfect and can do almost anything, he is loved by most students in Hogwarts.

Nymphadora Tonks

Nymphadora is a Hufflepuff that specializes in Metamorphmagus, which allows her change her physical appearance without a need of Polyjuice Potion or spell. She is also a member of the Order of the Phoenix that Dumbledore founded in order to fight Voldemort and his force.

Does Choosing Hufflepuff Affect Gameplay?

Access to House Specific Quests

At some point in the main story quest, you will be tasked to find missing pages of the certain book related to a character named Richard Jackdaw. The quest will branch off into four different narratives, depending on the House you choose.

If you are in House Hufflepuff, you will have access to the Prisoner of Love main story quest.

Can Only Enter Hufflepuff Common Room

You will only be able to enter the Hufflepuff Common Room if you were sorted into this House. The entrance of the other common rooms are present in Hogwarts Castle but you cannot enter inside.

Can You Enter Other Houses Common Rooms?

Can Only Wear the Uniform of Your Chosen House

Players can only wear the uniforms of their chosen Hogwarts House. This means that most of the House-related gear you can obtain will have a yellow and black color representing House Hufflepuff.
