The Temperance Ending for Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the five endings available in the game. Read on to learn which choices to make to get this ending, the ending explanation, and the rewards.
How to Get The Temperance Ending
Complete Either Panam's or Rogue's Questlines
To make the dialogue choice of asking for Panam or Rogue's help appear during the conversation with Johnny at the latter part of Nocturne OP55N1, you must complete their corresponding side quests.

All Side Quest (Side Job) Guides
Choose to Ask Panam or Rogue for Help
If the player has completed the side quests related for Panam and Rogue, choose the dialogue option that asks for Panam or Rogue's help.
The Temperance ending is a little harder to complete than The Devil Ending, as you have to fight your way to Mikoshi under Arasaka tower.

If You Asked for Panam's Help - Give Your Body to Johnny
To get the Temperance Ending and Trophy you need to give your body to Johnny when Alt asks you, then cross the bridge once the conversation is over.
If You Asked for Rogue's Help - Take V's Body
It's important to take note that if you asked for Rogue's help, you will be playing as Johnny when you storm Arasaka.
The choice to make in Mikoshi will be Johnny's to make as well. Once you decide that Johnny will take V's body, enter the well (Do not cross the bridge).

The Temperance Ending Explanation
Neither a Good nor Bad Ending
The Temperance Ending is neither good nor bad.
The reason for this is because V and Johnny came to an agreement, although Johnny is a little hesitant to take V's body as he cares for him and his relationship to the people he has made connections with.
It's only heartbreaking as the bantering duo has to come to terms with their decision, that someone lives, and someone stays in cyberspace.
Some may interpret this in simple terms, as who has the most use of V's body. In the case of The Temperance Ending, V gives his body to Johnny for it to live longer.
As Johnny (In V's Body) leaves Night City, the story's premise is shifted again to the yearning of escape from the ever despairing Night City.
Consequences
Either Saul or Rogue Dies
Depending on who you called help from, either Saul or Rouge dies by the hands of Adam Smasher.
Reaction From V's Friends
During the roll credits, there are calls from V's friends and depending on which ending path the player chose their reactions vary.
For The Temperance Ending, most of V's friends merely tell them to take care of themselves.
But a few calls that are different are Panam's and Misty's.
Since Panam knows about Johnny, during her phone call on the roll credits she swears that she will find Johnny and rip V out of the body.
Misty's tarot reading implies the meaning of death, though Misty and the other characters do not know of V's fate.

If you asked for Rogue's help, agree with V that Johnny will keep the body, and enter the well to get the Temperance Trophy.

Once you complete the game, no matter which difficulty or ending path you chose, you will always be rewarded with a free Gorilla Arms cyberware.
