After waiting two days for Reed's call to complete the previous mission, head to The Moth bar marked on your map. Sit by the bar and talk to Daphne until Reed arrives.
Reed will eventually enter the bar and escalate the situation quickly. You can show Alex the coin from Myers right away or do a slick disarming move first (if you meet the Reflex requirement).
Follow Alex outside and try to convince her into helping you find Songbird. You'll also get to learn more about their backstory, especially one that Reed has been hiding.
Head back inside so you can discuss your next move with Alex and Reed. You now need to find a certain Slider, an infamous netrunner, to help track Songbird's whereabouts.
Right as you make your way to the hideout, Johnny will appear and talk to you about getting involved in another corpo problem. Your answers here won't have an effect in future events, so you can role play a bit.
Slider's hideout is just above the area where you first encountered Reed. If you arrived while the sun's up, you can sit on the nearby bench to wait for Reed.
Follow Reed inside and you will spot Voodoo Boys guarding the central room. Reed will give you options on how to approach this, with the third one requiring a sufficient Body level.
Should You Force Your Way In? ▼
Reach the room at the back of the central area and open the industrial shutters to find Slider. Talk to him and let him take a look at the Relic.
Once you've established connection, Slider will tell you that Songbird has been tapping into the Blackwall to connect with you, as well as the potential dangers that Songbird might bring.
Eventually, Songbird herself will make contact and tell you about Hansen's plan and how she'll meet you.
Slider short circ'd. Nothing you can do now.
Head outside with Reed to continue but be careful, more Voodoo Boys just arrived to look for you. You can either sneak outside or take them down for more loot.
Tell Reed what Songbird told you, particularly about the Black Sapphire. The Black Sapphire is apparently the taller skyscraper in front of you and is where Songbird will meet you. The conversation, and the mission, is completed once both of you start checking on your connections to find a way into the fortress.
Choice | Outcome |
---|---|
Let's just chat 'em up | Try to talk your way in. They will tell you to scram and force you to look for another way in (second choice), unless you attack. |
Gotta be another way in. Let's look. | Find the shaft Reed mentioned. |
I say we just roll in. (Requires sufficient Body level) |
Same with the first choice, but you'll have another option to signal Reed to attack. |
Before you decide on how to infiltrate the hideout, know that stealth route is not possible without a Cyberdeck. Finding the shaft and entering through the vents will lead you to the central area, where you'll have to disable cameras and quietly take down enemies until you reach Slider.
If you want to pass through the first check without violence, you can use the shaft that Reed mentioned. Head outside and look for the glowing skull markings on the right side of the entrance.
Jump up on this ledge so you can reach the balcony right above the entrance. Afterwards, turn right to find the shaft and follow the path through a vent until you reach the central area.
Should you initiate combat in any way possible, you'll answer to a horde of Voodoo Boys and a huge pillar that can pass along daemons to you, dealing heavy damage.
You'll have to destroy all four cores of the server to stop the continuous hacking. The cores will expose themselves one by one during the breaching process, and destroying one temporarily stuns all the Voodoo Boys in the building.

You can stealth this without a deck. Sandy works fine, cloak helps.

if you shoot the cameras and just wait for them to stop looking for you, you can stealth just fine, just need to be patient
