Perk Points allow players to purchase Perks as they level up in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. Read on to learn how to get as many perk points as possible, as well as the different methods to earn them quickly during your playthrough.
The most basic way to gain Perk Points in Cyberpunk is by leveling up. Each level up will give you +1 Attribute Point as well as +1 Perk Point. Complete Main quests, Fixer Gigs, Side Quests, and NCPD Scanner Hustles to farm EXP and levels for Perk Points.
Update 2.0 reduced the number of available Skills from 12 to only 5 Total Skills. By extension, they also reduced the total number of perk points you can get from leveling up Skills from 7 per Skill to 2 per Skill.
In 2.0, players will only be able to earn a total of 10 Perk Points from these Skills. Each Skill will reward players will +1 Perk Point once they reach Skills levels 15 and 35.
2.0 Perk Trees and Skill Progression Guide
Perks Shards are rare items that grant you +1 Perk Point when you collected. Most of the Perk Shards in the game can be obtained by completing NCPD Scanner Hustles or side jobs, so make sure to complete the game's side content if you want to really map out your preferred Perk Tree.
