Strengths

Emulate Lucyna Kushinada's netrunning and Monowire prowess with this build! It focuses on maximizing the damage you can do with your quickhacks and Monowire attacks. Become an Edgerunner and fulfill your dreams to go to the moon!

Weaknesses

A netrunning build makes direct gunfights hard, so dealing with a large number of ranged enemies will be tough. This build also has the added side effect of seeing a vision of the love of your life while exploring the moon.

Lucy Build Attributes

Attribute Progression

Build Attributes
Lv. Body Reflex Tech Intel Cool
1 3 4 3 6 6
10 4 6 3 9 9
50 8 20 3 20 20
60 18 20 3 20 20

The max level is only up until 50 in the base game. Purchase Phantom Liberty to reach level 60.

Lucy is a powerful Netrunner. To emulate her skills, focus on putting points into the Intelligence attribute. This will increase your maximum RAM per point and grants you access to perks that make quickhacking and Monowire gameplay more effective.

In Edgerunners, Lucy is seen using a Unity-type sidearm, which suggests she has an affinity with pistols. Invest your points in the Cool attribute for increased damage and easier aiming with this type of weapon. This attribute also has perks that help with your stealth, which is always ideal for a Netrunning gameplay.

Next, acquire points in the Reflexes and Body attribute. The former improves your mobility in fights, especially with the Dash and Air Dash perks and the latter increases your survivability.

Everything is covered, damage- and gameplay-wise, so Technical Ability can be left alone.

Lucy Build Relic Skill Priority

In Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Lucy does not have any Relic skills at her disposal; the option is only available to V since they are the ones who have Arasaka's Relic Shard. However, for in-game purposes, below are our recommended Relic Skills to acquire in this build.

Relic Skill Acquisition

Priority Main Skill Branch Skill
1st Jailbreak Relic Icon Jailbreak Data Tunneling Relic Icon Data Tunneling
2nd Vulnerability Analytics Relic Icon Vulnerability Analytics Machine Learning Relic Icon Machine Learning
3rd Emergency Cloaking Relic Icon Emergency Cloaking Sensory Protocol Relic Icon Sensory Protocol

When you get the Relic Skill Tree, unlock Jailbreak then branch off to Data Tunneling as soon as you can. This gives you more combat options for your Monowire, being able to spread Control Quickhacks with ease and without RAM costs.

Then prioritize Vulnerability Analytics into Machine Learning. Targetting weakspots can effectively double your damage.

Finally, take Emergency Cloaking into Sensory Protocol for an easy escape on certain situations. This will also help a stealthy gameplay.

Relic Skill Tree Available in the DLC

Please take note that the Phantom Liberty expansion is needed to access the Relic Skill Tree.

How to Play the Lucy Build

Upload Quickhacks First Before Using Monowire

Lucy is mostly seen finishing enemies with her Monowire. For this build, your quickhacks will act as support to your Monowire damage so be sure to upload them first before slicing away.

This build includes increased quickhack damage, so for a large number of enemies or a boss, use quickhack combos like Contagion to Overheat and Cyberware Malfunction to Short Circuit.

With the Jailbreak Relic Skill, Spread the Weapon Glitch Quickhack With Your Monowire

Incorporating V's style with Lucy's, the Jailbreak Relic Skill into Data Tunnelling will allow you to spread quickhacks with your Monowire. We recommend the Weapon Glitch to make fights with mobs of enemies easier.

Use Overclock to Increase Monowire Damage

The Militech Paraline MK.4 gives the Monowire bonus Electrical Damage when Overclock is active. Be sure to activate the perk first by pressing E before going all out.

Use Pistols Sparingly

While Lucy is shown using pistols, they are mostly backup when things get sour. Do the same for this build and only use pistols when necessary. Before using it, upload Reboot Optics on the enemy to increase headshot and weakspot damage.
